I currently live in beautiful Vienna with my daughter, my husband, and our Labrador, Naomi. Gallons of coffee and peppermint tea literally keep me alive. 🙂 Sometimes my work utensils spill over into all the rooms, so to speak, turning our whole apartment into a studio, much to my husband’s chagrin. Fortunately, this chaos usually only lasts a few days. My daughter then always says quite laconically, “Mom, you’re becoming more and more like Henriette!” For those who haven’t read ‘Molly’s Garden goes wild’ yet. Henriette is Molly the field mouse’s chaotic best friend, who is constantly looking for her favourite yellow for painting and just can’t keep things tidy.
Nature conservation has played a central role in my life since my youth. With my stories, which mostly deal with environmental issues, I want to inspire children to protect nature. These topics are serious and also worrying. That’s why my stories are hopeful and meant to encourage and empower children. Because, as my great role model has already said.
Every individual makes a difference.
