Great joy for Michaela Vogl on November 10, 2025 at the Museumsquartier in Vienna: The artist was honored by Design Austria at the prestigious Romulus Candea award ceremony 2025 for her exceptional illustrations of the two mice, Molly and Henriette. The jury particularly praised her lovingly designed felt figures, the detailed collages, and her dedicated approach to environmental issues.

With her art, children’s book author Michaela Vogl succeeds in inspiring children about nature and sustainability – and it was precisely this combination of creativity and message that convinced the jury.
